Shortcut to the Application

For every other user of SupportDesk you must add a shortcut to SupportDesk on the users desktop.

  1. Right click on the Desktop and select New > Shortcut.
  2. Type the location of the SupportDesk installation on the network.
    ie. \\servername\suppdesk\supdskcs.exe
  3. Click Next, give the shortcut a name, and then click Finish.
  4. Next, right click on the newly-created shortcut, and choose.
  5. Ensure that the “Start In” directory is correct – it needs to be the installation directory as shown below.
