HotH’s 2.6 Challenge!

Giving back to charity is a value we have always held dear at House on the Hill Software and in the current climate of uncertainty we feel this value has never been of higher importance.

Earlier this month we donated to the Booths Centre, a charity we have supported for many years however, after hearing of the 2.6 challenge we couldn’t help but get involved in another charity campaign.

Working from home has been odd for us, we are a very close-knit team and our virtual meetings hasn’t quite had the comradery as our Monday morning meetings or our kitchen hangouts eating homemade cakes. We thought this would be the perfect challenge for us to work together and have a laugh, all be it from opposites sides of the North West!

So, what is the 2.6 Challenge? In response, to the London Marathon being cancelled on the 26th of April the organisers of the biggest mass-participation sports events across the country have come together to create a new campaign to raise vital funds to help save the UK’s charities who have been catastrophically effected by Covid-19. From Sunday 26 April, the public is asked to dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to Save the UK’s Charities via twopointsixchallenge.co.uk!

We have been assigned our individual challenges (even Buddy the office dog isn’t getting out of this one!) and we raring to go to raise money for some wonderful charities. All HotH household members are invited and the business will donate £26 for each participant.
