House-on-the-Hill Software attends the IT in Housing Show. Supplier of service desk software solutions to Housing Associations across the country.

Helpdesk software for housing: SupportDesk was on display at the 2011 IT in Housing show, which took place this November at the familiar venue of London’s Olympia. Exhibiting for the fourth year in a row, the HotH team occupied the same stand as previous years and were very pleased to see lots of familiar faces in the form of housing associations and councils that already use SupportDesk.

As well as current customers coming to say hello, the team also met many new people interested in discovering more about SupportDesk and what the IT service Management, Facilities Management and comprehensive Freedom of Information Management service desk software solutions had to offer. Already a prominent figure within this sector, House-on-the-Hill is highly experienced in providing software solutions to housing associations across the country: something that proved a reassuring fact for authorities visiting the show who were looking to switch or implement Service Management systems.

Conferences staged during the two day event covered various topics designed to keep delegates in-the-know of the current climate of IT in the housing sector and what the latest advancements in technology can do to benefit organisations. The drinks reception was held at Pizza Express on the first night of the show, giving the HotH team the opportunity to meet fellow exhibitors and delegates, and of course, eat some free pizza!

HotH were pleased to discover that there was a particular interest surrounding the Freedom of Information solution that the company now has on offer. This solution is designed specifically for managing the workflow of Freedom of Information Requests, something that many housing associations and public sector organisations are currently dealing with in paper form, but are looking to switch to a digital system for increased efficiency and security. On the whole IT in Housing 2011 proved to be another great show, and November, another busy month for House-on-the-Hill.
